Yesterday - Monday

Our first day was rather calm and in a way uneventful which is a good thing!  With a good crossing and good bus rides, everyone did very well considering.  Here are their thoughts...

Group 1
We left school at 10.45.  We went on 2 buses to get 71 people on.  We got the bus to St Margaret’s Hope and got on a boat.  The boat went to Gills Bay.  We saw a whale.  Then we got a bus and stopped in Golspie and 1 of the buses saw a dancing pig.  Then we got back on the bus to Lagganlia and watched Paddington Bear the movie.

We arrived at 17.45.  We got taken to the dining room.  We pre-ordered our meals for the next day.  We went for a tour and the man said if you fall down the hill into the river you will go ‘bye bye’.  We’ve been told where you can and can’t go.     Ella and Evie

Group 2
On the first day at Lagganlia we went on the bus then the boat.  We watched movies on the bus, we watched Despicable Me and Paddington, and they were good.  We then stopped in Golspie for lunch.  When we got to Lagganlia, we had bolognaise and pasta for tea, it was nice and we had cheesecake.  Then we found out what rooms we were in.  We went in the woods.  We all come back and are having fun. Elle and Ahmi

Group 3

The boat got in around 1 o’clock and the rest of the journey was by bus.  We watched Despicable Me and Paddington Bear on the DVD on the bus until we arrived at Lagganlia at around 17.40.  We had pasta bolognaise for tea.  It was sunny most of the time; it started raining not long before we got to Lagganlia.    Hannah and Kiera

Today the P7s started to travel to Lagganlia and on their way the boat was a bit rocky.  On the bus they saw 2 Ferraris and 1 lambergeni.  Then we stopped at Golspie and had our lunch and stretch our legs.  When we arrived in Lagganlia it was round 5.30 then had tea at 6pm, it was pasta bolognaise with garlic bread.  Then for desert we had raspberry cheesecake.  We found our rooms and settled in by making our beds.  We got a tour of Lagganlia and it looks fantastic.                                                              Nicol and Finlay

Group 6
On the day of Lagganlia all 63 of us came to school and got sorted into groups and we went on the bus to the Hope.   When we arrived in the Hope we got our suitcases and got on the bus.

On the boat we went outside some people slept and apparently people saw a Minky Whale on the trip across the water.  When we came of the boat we went on our buses one bus watched films, the two films that some of us watched were Paddington and Despicable Me.  We stopped at Golspie to ear our packed lunch then went back on the bus and travelled for another 2 hours.

As we arrived we saw ski slope and mountain bikes.  When the other bus arrived we were welcomed by the bus in front of us.  When we got in we went for dinner and then got told who was in our rooms.  When we knew we got our beds ready then had a tour around we saw the ski slope, bike obstacle course, river Feshie  When we got back we still had time to finish our bedrooms that didn’t have time to do earlier.                      Jana and Archie

Group 7We set off on the 11.50am boat from the Hope.  The weather was really good.  We saw a Mink Whale and some puffins.  We got off the boat at Golspie to have lunch and then we went to Lagganlia.  When we got to the centre we had dinner which was spaghetti bolognaise.  After dinner we found out our rooms and we went on a tour.          Abigail and Allanah
